FOr Parents
why get graduation portraits?
We all love hearing stories about who our parents and grandparents were before us, and photographs have a way of connecting us on a more intimate level to those stories. Even though we were not there ourselves we get to have a glimpse into our loved one's lives.
When my grandmother passed away, my family went through old photographs of her, and I was shocked by how much I looked like her when she was younger. Seeing those photos made me feel connected to a version of her I had never gotten to know.
That is what photographs do. Graduation photos celebrate who your child is today, but they also become part of your family’s history, something future children and grandchildren can look back on, connect with, and cherish for generations, even long after the people in those photographs are gone.
Why kkv?
I specialize exclusively in graduation photography. It isn’t just a service I offer, it’s the focus of my business and something I’ve spent years perfecting. While many photographers split their work between weddings, couples, families, and graduates, my work is centered soley on graduates.
I travel across the country photographing students from different schools and have worked with hundreds of graduates, giving me a deep understanding of how to pose, direct, and photograph grad sessions in a way that feels polished and intentional.
When you hire me, you’re not simply hiring a photographer to take graduation photos. You’re hiring a graduation photography specialist who provides a complete, luxury grad experience.
My work is finished in my signature bright, true to color editing style, something I have spent years perfecting and can only be found with me and my work.
